The Martin Lab is located at the South campus of the City College of NY of the City University of NY. The South Campus is a research center for CUNY. There are twin buildings, one staffed by CCNY faculty, the Center for Discovery and Innovation (or CDI), and the other staffed by newly-hired CUNY research faculty, the Advanced Science Research Center (or ASRC). These are interdisciplinary facilities.
The Martin Laboratory is in CDI, where Dr. Martin established the Neural Development and Repair Cluster. The Cluster is comprised of 9 laboratories focused on a development and repair theme. The Martin lab currently has four postdoctoral fellows and two PHD students working on several major projects. The Laboratory has a full-time histologist and 3 research technicians.
The Neural Development and Repair Cluster has a set of core, state-of-the-art equipment, including: Zeiss 880 Superresolution Laser-scanning confocal microscope; Zeiss Laser Capture Microdissection system, and MagStim TMS.
